It has been quite difficult to find names which could “fit” the features of our cheeses. After many discussions we finally made it!

However, it is even more difficult to translate that in a foreign language – I would say impossible! Most of the names recall daily life in the farm. They reminisce the family (S’affumadu ‘e Zizzu), some concern animals and their graze (Assile, Miliagru, PEcoRETTE), other archeological sites near the farm (Burghidu). We also used names which remind the work process of some of our cheeses (Grande Casu).

That’s it! As you can read our homemade cheese factory is surrounded by such a wide range of realities, which we hope, we slowly will explore together.
